This accessibility statement applies to content published on data.jisc.ac.uk currently known as Explore my data (beta)This website application is run by Jisc. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website application. For example, that means you should be able to:

- zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

- The password reset email field requires information about the user that is not programmatically determined. This doesn’t meet WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.5
We will be working to address this non-compliances and it should be complete by the 31st October 2025 when the platform transitions from beta to active.
Data content
Data content products that are hosted on the platform will have their own accessibility conformance tests as and when they are developed.
How we tested this website application
We test accessibility of this website through a combination of manual evaluation, automated tools and assistive technology. Our approach includes: automated A sample of pages and functionality for this website application were tested in 10th June 2025 [LS1] [LS2] using the automated test tool AQA. The overall A11y conformance score was 98.9/100[LS3].
Manual testing key user journeys against WCAG2.2AA, keyboard navigation to verify all interactive elements are accessible without a mouse, screen reader testing using NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack to ensure compatibility with assistive technology, colour contrast etc'.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We are actively working to improve accessibility as the website continues to evolve. Further testing will be carried out over the coming months as we add new features and functionality. Accessibility remains a core part of our development and release process. We anticipate launching the full /platform on 31 October 2025 (or Q1 August 2025). We are working towards compliance with WCAG2.2AA standards at release. Accessibility feedback is welcome and will help us address any remaining issues before launch.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared in June 2025 and updated 1st October 2025. This website application was last tested in June 2025, the test was carried out by Jisc. This website application will be next retested in October 2025 and the accessibility statement will be reviewed accordingly.
